Westworld will continue for a season 4 at HBO. The complicated sci-fi / Western series will return in the future says Variety. After the successful season 2 of Westworld, it was a no brainer the show would return for another running.

The past season took the show in a different direction by including less Westworld “theme park” and more real-world. Season 3 centred around the rebellious robots working to ensure their ascension by eliminating mankind. However, the past season did see a drop in ratings compared to the first two seasons.
Viewers went down 57% from the premier compared to season 2. Regardless, the show still managed to deliver an exciting and confusing story throughout. Westworld is one of HBO’s highlight shows with it growing over the past few years. We don’t know when Westworld season 4 will debut but taking past seasons into consideration, it may be a year or so.
With the COVID-19 pandemic delaying productions across the entertainment industry, HBO may suffer a delay in filming the next season of the show. You can watch the current season on Showmax if you have not caught up yet.
