Gotham Knights is just over a week away from launch and WB Games has released a new cinematic launch trailer to get fans excited about the experience. The trailer is a high-budget cinematic video so you can expect some fancy hair simulation, lots of cliche Hollywood editing and a little showcase of each of the playable characters in the game.
The main idea of the trailer is to set things up for the events to come. We know that Batman is dead and the heroes are now fighting the Court of Owls. However, a big focus for the trailer is Batman’s legacy and how these new heroes are kind of stepping into his shoes to take on his role as the protectors of Gotham City. In a way, the Gotham Knights are Gotham’s future and the game will play a big role in setting this all up.

For those who don’t know, Gotham Knights is a new open-world action-adventure that stars familiar faces from the DC universe. Players will be able to take on the role of Batgirl, Robin, Red Hood and Nightwing as they fight the mysterious Court of Owls. The game also features two-player co-op meaning you and a friend can join forces to fight the baddies together.
Gotham Knights is set to launch only on PS5, Xbox Series X/S and PC on 21 October. Catch up on the cinematic launch trailer below.
