WhatsApp is currently working on a private reply system that lets users reply privately to individuals in a group chat rather than in the chat itself so everyone can see.

RelatedWhatsApp Stickers Are Now Available and They Are Awesome

According to WABetaInfo, the messaging service has introduced this new feature dubbed “Reply Privately” which is exactly what it is called and lets you privately reply to someone’s text in a group chat. This is a change over the past where you could only reply to a text in the chat and everyone would see it. Users can also reply to the admin directly too without that text being seen by the rest of the group.

Right now the feature is available in beta on Android only and comes in WhatsApp version 2.18.335.

Many people absolutely hate WhatsApp group chats and this new feature will most likely not add any sort of love at all for them either but it is still cool for those who want to chat directly with someone without the whole group seeing it. Basically, when Linda from HR invites you to her Christmas Party you can now privately tell her you might have flu that day and will be unable to join.

WhatsApp also released Stickers last week which have been well-received. Have you been using them? Let us know in the comments below.

GLITCHED was created by taking everything we love and putting into one place. It contains a little something for everyone be it your favourite comic book, what to binge on Netflix this weekend, or your annual first-person shooter. The idea that one can love all the cool things is not hard to comprehend, you just need to find a place for it. That place is GLITCHED..
