Wild Hearts, the new monster hunting game from Dynasty Warriors developer Omega Force, is set to launch later this week. Ahead of its release this Friday, the game’s initial download size and pre-load times were revealed.
The EA Play Trial for Wild Hearts is available right now, giving players access to 10 hours of the game before release. According to PlayStation Game Size, Wild Hearts will require a decent chunk of space at 54.712 GB for PS5. The file size will presumably be similar for Xbox Series X/S and PC players. Keep in mind this may exclude any potential day one updates or patches, which could increase the overall file size of the game.

As for when you can pre-load Wild Hearts, players can begin downloading the game tomorrow on 15 February ahead of its launch on 17 February. The pre-load will be available for all platforms.
The official description for Wild Hearts reads:
“No one remembers why the Kemono began their rampage through a once-prosperous Azuma. Fueled by desperation, they wield the power of primal nature at its most destructive. For a while, it seemed that none could stand against their overwhelming might. But hope arrives in the form of a formidable hunter armed with deadly weapons and ancient technology called Karakuri that could turn the tide of battle.”
Similar to Monster Hunter, Wild Hearts will require players to hunt elemental beasts called Kemono in order to gather materials and craft better gear and equipment. A new mechanic called karakuri allows you to build various cube-like contraptions and mechanisms such as springboards, giant hammers and gliders in order to get the upper hand in battles.
Wild Hearts is being developed by Omega Force and Koei Tecmo, best known for the Dynasty Warriors and Toukiden games. Electronic Arts will publish the game under its indie label EA Originals.
Wild Hearts releases on 17 February 2023 for PS5, Xbox Series X/S and PC.
