Wolfenstein: The New Order, developed by Machine Games and published by Bethesda, originally launched in 2014 and was touted as one of the best games of that year. It was also responsible for rejuvenating the Wolfenstein IP, putting players back into the shoes of protagonist BJ Blazkowicz as he tears through a resurging Nazi power. If you’re into bombastic shooters with some pulpy violence and a sense of humour, look no further than The New Order.
The current Epic Games Mega Sales includes great discounts on several other PC titles. Ghostwire: Tokyo is currently discounted at 34% off, Cyberpunk 2077 at 50% off, Assassin’s Creed Valhalla at 60% off, Far Cry 6 at 50% off and Red Dead Redemption 2 at 50% off, among many others.
Wolfenstein: The New Order also received a standalone expansion in The Old Blood, followed by an acclaimed sequel in Wolfenstein: The New Colossus in 2017. This was later followed by another standalone adventure, Wolfenstein: Youngblood, which followed the Blazkowicz daughters blasting through Nazi-dominated territory like their father.
Machine Games is currently working on an Indiana Jones video game in partnership with LucasFilm Games, and it’s supposedly set to be an Xbox exclusive (though other reports also suggest that it could be multi-platform).
