Wolfenstein: Youngblood & Cyberpilot Release Date and Gameplay Revealed

Wolfenstein: Youngblood might be a spinoff, but it is still one of my most anticipated games of 2019 and if you are like me, waiting anxiously to hear anything more about the game since it’s E3 2018 announcement, then you can now relax and mark those calendars. Wolfenstein: Youngblood will release on 26 July 2019 for PC, PS4, Xbox One and Switch and Wolfenstein: Cyberpilot, a VR Wolfenstein experience, will release on the same day.

With the release date announcement also came a trailer from Bethesda and it looks incredible. Since you will be playing with either one of Terror Billy’s twin daughters, Jess or Soph Blazkowicz in 1980 Paris, one of the sisters will be AI controller. However, you can also co-op and this is where things get interesting.

If you decide to purchase the Wolfenstein: Youngblood Deluxe Edition, you will be able to bring a friend along. Pricing on all local stores haven’t been revealed yet, but on Steam the standard version will set you back R459 while the Deluxe Edition costs R599. With the Wolfenstein: Youngblood Deluxe Edition, you get some cosmetics as well as a “Buddy Pass”, which you can send to a friend so they can join you in a Nazi-killing adventure without having to pay for the game themselves.

Welcome to the 1980s. BJ Blazkowicz is missing. His last-known whereabouts: Nazi-occupied Paris. The only ones who can find him are his twin daughters, Jess and Soph Blazkowicz—and no Nazi scum are gonna stand in their way. Liberate Paris from the Nazi threat as you search for your father in the first open-ended co-op adventure in the series, either with a friend or an AI companion.

About Wolfenstein: Cyberpilot

We’ve seen a lot of awesome VR games to get excited about recently with my personal favourite being Iron Man VR. However, another VR game that everyone with a capable device should probably be extremely excited about is Wolfenstein: Cyberpilot, published by Bethesda and developed by Arkane Studios as well as Machine Games. Yes, you will be able to join the revolution against the Nazis in virtual reality in a few months.

Below you can check out a bit more information about Wolfenstein: Cyberpilot.

Wolfenstein: Cyberpilot brings virtual reality to the revolution against the Nazis.

Paris. 1980. You’re the best hacker in town. Your mission: aid the French resistance by taking control of powerful Nazi war machines. Ram, gun down, and burn your way through the City of Love, leaving dead Nazis in your wake.

Saddle up, Cyberpilot, you’re one of us now.

Yes, you will be able to pilot a massive mech and blast Nazis in the face, in Paris, which sounds simply impressionnant to me. The game also won’t cost you an arm and a leg, as right now the PlayStation Store listing shows a price of R329 and the price on Steam weighs in at R299.
