Blizzard has delayed the upcoming World of Warcraft: Shadowlands expansion to later this year. The expansion pack was originally set to release on 27 October 2020 but the developer needs more time to get the content ready.

Blizzard did not share a new release date. However, the developer did promise the expansion is set to arrive before the end of the year. In addition to the World of Warcraft: Shadowlands delay, Blizzard outlined its plans for the 13 October patch. While the expansion is delayed, the patch will release on time and bring with it a fully revamped character levelling update. The update will end with a pre-launch event that sends players into the battle of the Undead Scourge.
Hopefully, we will get a new release date in the coming weeks. World of Warcraft: Shadowlands is a highly anticipated content drop for the MMO.
