Blizzard did not share a new release date. However, the developer did promise the expansion is set to arrive before the end of the year. In addition to the World of Warcraft: Shadowlands delay, Blizzard outlined its plans for the 13 October patch. While the expansion is delayed, the patch will release on time and bring with it a fully revamped character levelling update. The update will end with a pre-launch event that sends players into the battle of the Undead Scourge.
Hopefully, we will get a new release date in the coming weeks. World of Warcraft: Shadowlands is a highly anticipated content drop for the MMO.
