WWE 2K22 was announced last week but in typical 2K Games fashion, the developer didn’t share any actual gameplay for the game. Given that it has been a few years since the last wrestling game, WWE 2K20 which was a hot disaster, you would think 2K Games would be a bit more transparent with this.

Well, a week later 2K Games has released the first official gameplay trailer. We have our first full look at the WWE 2K22 gameplay and it looks rather awesome. The trailer should make all wrestling fans happy because not only does the game look more polished than before but it also looks like the best-looking WWE game in a long time.

2K Games has clearly added their NBA visual flair to the upcoming title. Wrestlers look great, stadiums are detailed and even the general gameplay seems to boast a lot of spit and polish.

While this doesn’t exactly tell us how the game plays, some of the finer details like the backstage fighting and cage matches fill us with some old-school wrestling nostalgia.

We will have to wait and see how it all plays out when the game releases in March. WWE 2K 22 is set to launch on 11 March 2022 for PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X/S and PC.
