Xbox and Bethesda have announced a new games showcase event for 12 June 2022, the companies revealed in a recent blog post. The show will kick off on Sunday, 12 June at 10AM PT / 7PM SAST focusing on “amazing titles coming from Xbox Game Studios, Bethesda, and our partners around the world.”
The showcase will cover new games coming to the Xbox ecosystem, available on both Xbox Game Pass and PC Game Pass. Little else was revealed about the show apart from the short blog post, though we’ll likely hear about what to expect closer to the time.

Xbox also provided a list of options where fans can tune into the livestream taking place in June. These include links to YouTube, Twitch, Facebook and TikTok.
Since E3 2022 is not happening this year, it’s safe to say that this showcase will be E3-equivalent, featuring plenty of game updates, trailers, announcements and more.
Last year, Xbox managed to impress with its various game reveals and world premieres, particularly pushing the amount of content coming to Xbox Game Pass on day one. This year probably won’t be too different, though we’re hoping to hear updates about games currently in development, including Ninja Theory’s Hellblade II: Senua’s Saga, Playground Games’ Fable reboot, Arkane’s Redfall and Bethesda Game Studios’ anticipated RPG, Starfield.
With every E3-sized showcase comes new game announcements too, and Xbox will likely have some exciting reveals coming from both their expansive first-party studios as well as third-party partners. Xbox may still have a lineup of upcoming games that have yet to be announced given their massive acquisitions of both Bethesda and most recently, Activision Blizzard, though the latter’s ink has yet to dry before the deal is finalised.
You can tune into the Xbox and Bethesda Games Showcase on 12 June 2022 at 7PM SAST.
