The Microsoft boss that is currently in charge of Sony’s direct competitor, Xbox’s Phil Spencer, is PlayStation’s upcoming God of War Ragnarok. Spencer made the statement in response to one of the many questions asked by the official Xbox Twitter account.
The post that Xbox boss Phil Spener responded to asked fans to name their first game, last game, favourite game as well as which game were excited to play next. Spencer responded stating that his current anticipated title is God of War Ragnarok, which is awesome to see the bond and love of gaming, but rather funny since they are meant to be at corporate odds.

Santa Monica’s highly anticipated God of War Ragnarok comes as no surprise as the selection for most when it comes to what people want to play next. The title is set to launch on the 9th of November, 2022 after it was delayed in 2021 in order to give the developer some more time to deliver “a top-quality game while maintaining the safety and wellbeing” of its staff.

This is not the first time that Xbox lead Phil Spencer has spoken about his excitement to play the upcoming title, after he responded to game director Cory Barlog urging fans to “treat the people that make the things we love with some human decency and respect”.

If you are a fan of God of War then you will be spoiled for God of War content coming over the next few years with the release of God of War Ragnarok as well as the God of War TV show adaptation. Santa Monica also recently announced the official story synopsis for Ragnarok as well as provide some more details as to what we can expect from the game’s performance modes when it releases in November.
