Xbox Games Showcase Start Time and Streaming Details

Microsoft has announced the start time and streaming details for the upcoming Xbox Games Showcase set to air on 11 June. The presentation will focus on upcoming first-party Xbox games followed by a lengthy presentation for Bethesda Game Studios’ next sci-fi RPG, Starfield. No details were revealed about what players can expect or how long the show will last but we can hopefully look forward to big reveals.

The digital Xbox Game Showcase will take place on Sunday, 11 June at 10am PT / 1pm ET / 6pm BST / 7pm CET or 7pm CAT. Additionally, the stream will be available on several platforms including YouTube, Twitch and Facebook and in over 30 languages, plus American Sign Language, British Sign Language and English audio descriptions..

Microsoft’s statement on the upcoming showcase reads:

“Join us for some new surprises and first-looks from our incredibly talented internal studios, and our many creative partners around the world. This is the day gamers have been waiting for to see what is coming to Xbox, PC, and Game Pass. Starfield Direct will invite you inside Bethesda Game Studios to learn much, much more about Starfield, with tons of new gameplay, developer interviews, and behind-the-scenes insider information.”

A follow-up stream, Xbox Games Showcase Extended, will air a couple of days later on 13 June and feature in-depth interviews with Xbox’s various developers plus updates from third-party partners, though it will be smaller in scale compared to the bigger showcase.

Meanwhile, Xbox’s industry competitor PlayStation is rumoured to be hosting its own showcase shortly before the non-E3 season, either in late May or early June. We’ll just have to wait and see what each company brings to the table.
