Starfield Bethesda Game Studios Leak Details

Xbox Limited Edition Starfield Controller and Headset Plans Leaked

Microsoft’s plans for a limited edition Starfield wireless controller and headset have leaked ahead of its official announcement at the upcoming Xbox Games Showcase. Starfield, the highly anticipated sci-fi RPG from Bethesda Game Studios, is easily the biggest Xbox release of the year and of course, fans will be able to get their hands on some themed limited edition items.

The leak comes from reliable leaker billbil-kun who has been very accurate in the past regarding monthly PlayStation Plus leaks as well as recent game leaks like Mortal Kombat 1. According to the leaker, Xbox is planning to reveal a Starfield limited edition wireless controller and headset at the Xbox Games Showcase set to take place on 11 June. The limited edition Starfield controller will reportedly cost $79.99 with the headset priced at $124.99.

Unfortunately, we’ll have to wait for an official confirmation from Xbox or Bethesda Game Studios in the coming weeks to get a glimpse at the design of these products.

Starfield is set to have its own dedicated presentation after the Xbox Games Showcase on 11 June which will offer an updated deep dive into the game including gameplay, combat and hopefully a better understanding of how exploration will work among the stars.

There’s a lot riding on Starfield to be a major success for Xbox after the vampire action game Redfall from Arkane Studios launched to poor reviews and a middling reception from fans who expected the game to make a bigger splash than it did. Starfield also marks Bethesda Game Studios’ first high-profile single-player release since Fallout 4 back in 2015.

Once development on Starfield has wrapped up, Bethesda Game Studios will push ahead with the very long-awaited follow-up to The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim in The Elder Scrolls 6, though it’s anyone’s guess what year (or generation) it will release in.

Starfield launches on 6 September 2023 for Xbox Series X/S and PC.
