For those who missed it. The Series S is the baby brother console to the “X”. While the official specs are still a mystery, Microsoft claims the console can output 1440p resolutions at up to 120FPS. In addition, the console can upscale to 4K resolution in games and provides 4K streaming. Other features include DirectX ray-tracing, adaptive and variable frame rate support.
The console is 60% smaller than the Xbox Series X and includes a 512GB SSD. The same storage solution found in the X but smaller. The console is set to launch on 10 November 2020. However, there’s no official South African release date yet. However, we will keep you updated as we learn more. Keep in mind that this is the RRP and pricing could change without notice.
