You Can Now Explore the Birthplace of Google Right From Your Couch

If you don’t know what Google is in 2018 then I have no words for you. It is probably one of the biggest brands in the world and a household name across the glove. Hell, my granny is a master at Googling things when she does not know how to backup her iPhone. But like all giant brands today, everything comes from humble beginnings and Google is no different. Not many people have seen the birthplace of Google and now you can.

To celebrate the company’s 20th anniversary, Google is opening up their birthplace for everyone to see and best of all, you can view it from your couch thanks to Google Street View. While there is nothing groundbreaking to look at, just to think that everything we search in life online, started in that room with that hideous furniture. Check out the street view below and make sure you rotate around to witness a historical place.

You will see a bunch of cables, tables and chairs and a whiteboard. Pretty simple setup and to think that Google has skyscraper head offices across the globe now is pretty scary. This property is found in Santa Margarita Avenue in Menlo Park and is owned by Susan Wojcicki, YouTube’s former CEO.

Marco is the owner and founder of GLITCHED. South Africa’s largest gaming and pop culture website. GLITCHED quickly established itself with tech and gaming enthusiasts with on-point opinions, quick coverage of breaking events and unbiased reviews across its website, social platforms, and YouTube channel.
