Those of you who picked up the PS5 version of Marvel’s Spider-Man: Miles Morales and got the Remastered PS4 game in the bundle can now take advantage of the save transfer. According to Insomniac Games, the feature has to be done in the game itself which means you’ll have to either boot your PS4 console up or use the PS4 version of the game on your PS5. Granted that you transferred your saves in the first place from your old console to your new one. Once done, the main menu now offers a new tab which manually uploads your save game to the cloud. The PS5 game then offers a new tab to download the save too.
Keep in mind that the save data does not just work across the two versions of the game. Users have to manually initiate the upload in the PS4 version. The system works the same as Borderlands 3 and Watch Dogs: Legion.
In addition to the save data feature, Insomniac Games also released a range of new costumes for both the PS4 version of Marvel’s Spider-Man and the Remastered game too. There are three costumes which you can now access. This includes the following;
- Added the Armored Advanced Suit
- Added the Arachnid-Rider Suit
- Added the Amazing Suit
Marvel’s Spider-Man: Miles Morales is a fantastic game and the remaster on PS5 adds some great value for money to the package too. If you played the original or you want to jump in for the first time, the collection is a must-buy. Check out my review of the game here.
