The fridge is a replica of the upcoming more-powerful next-gen console. Microsoft says it stands six feet tall and weighs 180Kgs. However, it is not just a standard fridge coated in fancy materials. The appliance includes the Xbox logo that lights up and even has the boot sound that plays when you use the disc slot as a door handle to open the door. In addition, it also lights up green inside.
Microsoft claims the fridge is $499 but users cannot purchase it. Honestly, I would have gone out today and bought one if I could. Instead, the company is giving one of the Xbox Series X fridge appliances away in a competition with the winner being drawn on 4 November 2020.
