A Chinese YouTuber has 3D printed the Nintendo Switch 2 console based on the leaked designs that surfaced on the internet earlier this week. There’s some debate surrounding whether or not the YouTuber has any credible information regarding the Switch 2, though the 3D printed design might give us a better idea of the console’s larger size and sleeker design.
Chinese YouTuber 小宁子 XNZ recently uploaded a video where she 3D printed a Nintendo Switch 2 model based on the leaked chassis and information we’ve received on the console’s design so far, revealing its larger screen, overall size and additional information (which many have claimed is simply guesswork). For one, the YouTuber says a USB-C connector at the top of the console is used to add an external camera for an enhanced motion capture experience. Additionally, DLSS is being used for 4K output.
The YouTuber claims to have had the model file for a while but felt compelled to 3D print the Switch 2’s design following this week’s leaks. This suggests that she may have had inside knowledge on the next Nintendo console, though it’s hard to validate any of these claims right now.
Renowned leaker NateTheHate chipped in on the YouTuber’s video stating on Reddit that she’s simply giving a summary of rumoured information that was already available online. “The presentation and spec stuff is not a report or information she knows. It’s a recap and needs to be framed as such in the OP to avoid confusion.”
Whether this 3D printed model actually represents the final console design is anyone’s guess but if you want a very rough idea of what the Switch 2 might look like and how its larger size will fit in your hands, you can check out the full video below and come up with your own conclusions.
