Zack Snyder’s Justice League cut is going to be one of the most ambitious films of this year. Not only is it attempting to fix the plot holes and CG issues presented in the previous Justice League films but will also include two-and-a-half hours of never-before-seen additional footage. This also means that the film is going to be a long one. Many have predicted that instead of it being one long movie experience, it would be chopped up into a series-like format. However, that is not the case. According to director Zack Snyder, the upcoming film will indeed be a four-hour movie.

What’s On HBO Max captured a conversation between Zack Snyder and a fan which took place during a Q&A session. The fan asked Synder whether or not the film is a series or a “one-shot watch of a movie”. Synder replied saying it is indeed a “one-shot” experience.
Up to this point, many believed that due to its HBO Max release, Snyder would chop up the four-hour experience into multiple parts. Originally, the project was announced as a limited multi-part series back at DC FanDome last year. However, that will no longer be the case.
Still, we don’t know what exactly Synder means. Perhaps all four one-hour episodes will drop at the same time giving viewers the opportunity to watch the Synder cut all at once. Either that or the experience will be a continuous four-hour one. We will just have to wait and see how DC and HBO Max plans on rolling out the project.
