One Piece Odyssey Story DLC ‘Reunion of Memories’ Revealed

Bandai Namco has announced story DLC for its turn-based RPG, One Piece Odyssey. The DLC is titled Reunion of Memories and will expand the story of the main game. However, fans will be transported to a very familiar location in One Piece‘s world: Alabasta. A release date was not announced for the new story content yet.

Players of One Piece Odyssey already visited Alabasta in the base game but it looks like they’ll be returning to the location again in the new story content. “The famous pirates are finally resting after their unbelievable adventures on the island of Waford and in Memoria, the world made of their memories,” begins the DLC’s description. “But as they celebrate their last night together before sailing away, a girl who looks like Lim appears dressed in black clothes with her hood pulled over her face, holding a sinister black cube in hand… But who is she?”

The description of Reunion of Memories continues:

“The Straw Hat Crew will be forced back into Memoria and transported again to Alabasta, although it seems different from last time, and the cube needed to escape has disappeared! The world of memories is not the same anymore and Luffy and his friends will have to find a way back, but not before they unravel one final hidden mystery.”

One Piece Odyssey released back in January for consoles and PC. Instead of following a similar pattern with its action-focused gameplay in the Pirate Warriors series, Odyssey drew inspiration from Dragon Quest and reformed its gameplay into turn-based combat – something that fans felt worked very well for the style of the game as it received good reviews on release.

One Piece Odyssey is currently available for PS4, PS5, Xbox Series X/S and PC. The Reunion of Memories DLC doesn’t have a release date.
