The Legend of Zelda: Tears of The Kingdom is out today and if you’re picking it up you’re in for a wonderful journey. We reviewed the game yesterday and scored it 10/10. You can read the full review here.
For those of you who are purchasing the extra accessories based on the game, we have also unboxed mostly everything you can buy. This includes the Nintendo Switch OLED Special Edition, the Pro Controller, Official Carry Case, Amiibo and Collector’s Edition. We also received a cool limited edition media kit.
I wanted to share what comes in all these versions and give you a closer look at what you’re getting. The Collector’s Edition is especially important to showcase given its contents include some great stuff. You’ll get a copy of the game, a SteelBook, a beautiful art book, a poster and pins.
The Legend of Zelda: Tears of The Kingdom Switch Pro Controller is also stunning. It features a white grip and unique decals etched into the surface. It is definitely something fans will love. There’s also the Official Carry Case that comes with screen protectors for both Switch models and some artwork on the case.
Nintendo has also launched a Link Amiibo toy available today. The toy features Link’s iconic design from the game with his phantom arm stretched out. He does this a lot in the game thanks to its creation system. The Amiibo also unlocks a unique glider skin which can be applied to Link’s equipment.
Lastly, the media kit we received comes with a study laptop bag covered in Tears of The Kingdom artwork. There’s also a hoodie featuring the same design. It also packs a beautiful double-sided gold coin and a numbered poster.
I have unboxed all the stuff in a video down below for you to look at. I film the accessories in quite a lot of detail so you can really get a good look at the stuff if you’re buying it. Maybe you’re on the fence and this will help push you over. I have also included the Switch OLED unboxing video below too for old-time’s sake.
