Let me just start by saying that Half-Life 3 has not been confirmed and that this doesn’t seem to be a belated April Fools joke either. It seems like Gabe “GabeN” Newell, the big boss at Valve has taken a break from “making games” to become an underwear model instead. Or someone took Gabe Newell’s face and plastered it on a product.
In a post on Reddit by user ChggnNggts (as spotted by PCGamesN) an image showcasing Gabe Newell’s face on a package of Chinese underwear called “LongD” surfaced. It looks like someone used a picture of GabeN as marketing material and yes, that is actually the name of the underwear if you were wondering.
The image, which you can view below, shows Gabe Newell’s face plastered on the packaging with a body that doesn’t seem to be his. A quick Google search will reveal that the second image found was used. Either someone in the marketing department of the LongD underwear range got bored, or GabeN is too busy modelling to do anything else. The underwear shown in the picture is size 4XL LongD Briefs and I can’t help but feel a bit disappointed that it isn’t 3XL, as then the internet would have probably exploded.
