Who you gonna call? Ghostbusters! Yes, the franchise is returning the big screen once again and this time around, it is a sequel to the original films and not a remake or a spinoff. Sony Pictures Entertainment released the first trailer for Ghostbusters: Afterlife and if you love Stranger Things and the original films, you will probably get very excited for the new one.

Ghostbusters: Afterlife from Sony Pictures Entertainment is based on the 1984 film. Ghostbusters: Afterlife is written by Jason Reitman & Gil Kenan. It stars Paul Rudd, Carrie Coon, Finn Wolfhard (yes, from Stranger Things) and Mckenna Grace and is set to hit cinemas in July 2020.
Sony Pictures Entertainment gives a short explanation of what the film is all about:

The trailer, which you can view at the bottom of this article, teases a connection to the original crew and the original cast is also reportedly expected to reprise their roles, which sounds like an awesome idea and trust me, the trailer will give you goosebumps, as it sets up a sequel to the original films perfectly and Paul Rudd is just fantastic. Yes, we might actually get a great new film for the franchise.
