Early in August, we reported that Capcom is sending out invites for people to test an unannounced Resident Evil game. Now, the first images of the game have leaked and it looks a bit familiar.

There have been a lot of rumours pointing towards a Resident Evil 3 remake and there are even hopes for a Resident Evil 8. However, the leaked images for Project Resistance looks a bit like a Left 4 Dead type game, a four-player multiplayer co-op. This however, has not been confirmed, but the leaked images are legitimate.
Reddit user 5eye-samurai was able to grab a few thumbnail images from the YouTube countdown video thumbnail which looks to be offline now, explaining that if you put the Livestream URL into a Youtube thumbnail grabber site, it spits out some images. Then, Nibel shared some higher quality images on Twitter, which you can view below.
We will have to wait and see what the game is all about as Capcom will reveal the game in September. For now, these images do look like a co-op multiplayer game, but nothing has been confirmed so far. You can check out the official site for Project Resistance right here.
