Playing God of War is a joy on its own and this morning, I frantically found my disc and reinstalled the game. The reason being that Sony is giving away a special avatar to everyone who owns the God of War Platinum Trophy. Yes, shame on me for not getting the God of War Platinum Trophy already, but that’s just another reason to go back to this incredible game now.

Getting the God of War Platinum Trophy shouldn’t even feel like a chore and even though it is a bit difficult to find all those collectables, it is always great to platinum a game you love playing. That’s the thing about God of War, its gameplay is so fantastic that I, for one, wouldn’t mind spending another 50 hours in the world.
For those who have earned the God of War Platinum Trophy already, you should check your emails as you should be getting a code to unlock the PSN avatar that you can view below.
We can confirm that South African players will get this awesome freebie from Sony as well, as Marco received his this morning in an email. The email should read this, followed by your key which you can redeem on the PlayStation Store:
Your legend has begun. Share your glory with the world.
Then, the email instructs you to redeem your voucher code. It is a pretty awesome freebie and it was not expected at all. For me, it is one more reason to head back into one of, if not the best game I have played last year. The trophy list required isn’t unnecessarily difficult either which makes going back to try and get that Platinum even tastier.
