The Call of Duty series has an infamous reputation for requiring an insane amount of hard drive space across all platforms. So much so that Activision even had to invest time and money into finding ways to optimise it by allowing users to delete portions of the game. The upcoming Call of Duty Modern Warfare 2 file sizes aren’t as bad as we anticipated with the entire game sitting on roughly 40GB on PS4.
PS5 players will need a bit more space as the “Base Game” portion is quite hefty on its own. However, I suspect the PS4 also has a Base Game package that hasn’t been listed in the findings.

The game is currently listed in various packages meaning you can download whatever you feel like playing. You can start with the campaign, which launches in early access today, and download the multiplayer next week.
