Bioshock Isolation Logo, Story and Gameplay Details Leaked

Bioshock 4 is still at least two years out but a massive leak has appeared online that reveals the game’s supposed logo, game name and even a few gameplay details players can look forward to. The post comes from a series of sources who claim to have knowledge of the game’s development. Bioshock Isolation, as it is reportedly called, will be a very different game from what we have experienced in the past.

According to the leak, Bioshock Isolation is set in a new isolated dystopian city. The game has been built on Unreal Engine 5 by Cloud Chamber. The team behind the game is made up of developers who have worked on games such as Watch Dog: Legion, Shadow of The Tomb Raider, Mafia 3 and Dues Ex.

A leaked slide from the game’s original pitch presentation seems to show off two cities that live in a sort of mirrored dimension to one another. These cities look identical to a certain degree. City 1, as it is described is a free and wealthy city led by a “successful entrepreneur”.

City 2 is an isolated underground city separated from the upper world. This city is led by a dictator who is waging war against the upper city. Then there’s the “Flipside Zone” which is the border between the two cities. The slide explains how the Flipside Zone is the centre point of the war between the two cities.

A free bird icon represents the top city and a cage icon represents the bottom city. These two icons seem to play quite a big role in the game’s story and lore. However, we don’t know much about that yet.

Another source claims that Bioshock Isolation is actually an open-world game. It will follow a sandbox design and feature immersive sound design, factions and a fully-interactive world. The world will also change as the player progresses through the game making for an interesting approach to the typical open-world genre.

The leak also reveals that the new Bioshock Isolation might not be the name of the game. This “Isolation” tag is just being used for the game’s development process and might be changed before its announcement. Speaking of, the leak also claims the game is set to be announced in Q1 2022. However, another source says we might see the new Bioshock by the end of the year.

Of course, like all leaks please take this with a pinch of salt. To be honest, it is quite detailed to be fake at this point and the whole “two cities” pitch also seems quite real. We can only wait and see what comes out of this.
