Studio MDHR won’t be releasing its ambitious Cuphead “The Delicious Last Course” DLC this year after all. Back in July, the studio did update fans saying that the development of the DLC was going well. However, they simply need more time. It was during this update that they released Cuphead for PS4. In a new Twitter post, Studio MDHR apologizes for the delay saying that the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic along with the DLC’s ambitious approach has forced them to push the release into 2021.
Unfortunately, the studio did not provide any sort of release window for Cuphead “The Delicious Last Course” DLC. The statement reads
In the wake of the ongoing global pandemic affecting so many, we have made the difficult decision to push back the release of The Delicious Last Course. For our wonderful Cuphead community, we’ve prepared a letter from Studio MDHR founders Chad & Jared Moldenhauer to share more. pic.twitter.com/XiU57Wcn1y
