Sony and MLB have announced details for this year’s MLB The Show 23. The game’s cover will feature Jazz Chisholm and plans to release on 28 March. The 24-year-old Bahamian Miami Marlins star will grace the cover of the game which features a vibrant purple artwork this year.
Sony says that pre-orders for the game will open on 26 February. The game will also launch on all available platforms including PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X/S and Nintendo Switch. MLB The Show 23 is the second game to release on Nintendo Switch and the third game on Xbox.

Xbox users will also get MLB The Show 23 as part of their Xbox Game Pass subscription at launch. The game also features cross-save and cross-play. However, certain game features such as the Stadium Creator will only launch on PS5 and Xbox Series X/S. This is likely due to the hardware requirements needed to use the game mode.
Sony will also showcase the MLB The Show 23 Collector’s Edition on 2 February.
