PCBuilder and its brand partners AMD, MSI, Crucial, Redragon, Xbox Game Pass and Windows 11 have announced the return of the new look Mythic (Royale) series for 2024 and beyond. Mythic 2024 Season One will feature a Valorant series, offering a guaranteed R20,000 cash prize pool and another R10,000 cash which can be unlocked via several community goals.
The return of the streamer and content creator focused ACGL Rivals will follow the first season of Mythic. Thanks to PCBuilder and its partners, the return will offer even more opportunities to compete and win for both competitors and supporters. To widen the focus across titles, Mythic 2024 will see the Season Two title determined via a variety of mechanics starting with the ACGL Rivals event.
Details of all the opportunities coming thanks to PCBuilder and its partners will be revealed as each phase of the action draws closer, but you can expect to see Season Two in the third quarter of 2024, with a special end-of-year event to see in the holidays following.

Since the Streamer Royale in 2019, and around eight season of Mythic Royale starting in 2020, ACGL and the PCBuilder brands have always innovated with the addition of community engagements and community goals year after year.

This year, after a short hiatus, the trend continues with an additional R2,000 cash being added to the tournament prize pool for each of the following community goals achieved between now and 19 May 2024:
- A social media reach of one million on #Mythic24
- At least 32 confirmed teams for the series
- 150 Twitter retweets of the announcement tweet
- Over 100 concurrent viewers in the finals livestream
- Completing all four other community goals
For those supporting but not competing in the Valorant series, there are opportunities to win. You can enter the product giveaways offered via the Giveaways system on ACGL, as well as via social media and stream giveaways. In the 2022 Mythic Royale, over 70 products were given away, with nearly one million Embers used to enter the giveaways of exciting tech products.
Entry to the giveaways is open to everyone and free. All you need is an ACGL account and Embers. Earning Embers is easy and a reward for engaging on the ACGL site. Earn Embers for every match, mission and other engagement opportunities completed via the ACGL site. The more you enter, the higher your chances of winning.
Squad Up and Register Now
Valorant teams of all skill levels are invited to sign up and compete for free. Registrations are now open for the Mythic Valorant Series, with the first round of matches scheduled for 13 April. The action is scheduled to conclude on 19 May with matches being streamed live on the ACGL Twitch channel.
