Want to give Prince of Persia: The Lost Crown a go before diving into the game next week? Now you can thanks to a new demo available on all relevant platforms. Ubisoft released the demo shortly after the review embargo dropped last night. The studio says the demo will give players a taste of how the game works and let players experience some time powers while exploring various regions of the early story.
Story progression from the Prince of Persia: The Lost Crown demo doesn’t carry over to the main game. So you’ll have to do it all over again when you boot the game up on 15 January (if you’re playing early access). This is due to the curated content in the demo which differs from the main game. The demo isn’t just a look at some of the early game content. You’ll also have powers and amulets available which you won’t have access to in the main game at the same point.
Prince of Persia: The Lost Crown is the latest game from Ubisoft Montpellier. We reviewed the Metroidvania game and absolutely loved it. The game’s parkour, boss fights, exploration and combat make for a fun time in Mount Qaf. Players take on the role of Sargon as he gets roped into saving a kidnapped prince. Things go south and the Immortal finds himself hunting down the powers of the Simurgh to solve an ancient mystery.
The demo is available now on PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X/S, PC and Switch. Check out the latest launch trailer for Prince of Persia: The Lost Crown down below:
