Stray Release Date Leaked PlayStation PS4 PS5

PS5 Game “Stray” Gets Stunning Gameplay Walkthrough

Stray was originally announced back in 2020 during the PS5 showcase event. However, up to now we haven’t seen or heard much about the game. Thankfully, BlueTwelve Studios has just shared more information with us regarding Stray through a gameplay walkthrough video.

According to Swann Martin-Raget, Stray follows the story of a cat who accidently falls into a strange and mysterious city. The game follows the game’s journey of survival as it tries to get back to its family. From a gameplay perspective, Stray is completely unique and sees players control the cat while exploring the city through parkour jumps and crawls and proceeding through an area by completing puzzles.

The Suicide Squad is Getting Glowing Early Reviews

Players have to be creative when it comes to the way they complete these puzzles and challenges. The world provides items and they should explore the various hidden pathways to see how it all interacts with one another.

The city itself is also a wonderful place to explore in Stray. The inhabitants all bear a human form but also boast TV screens for heads. The cat also meets a drone called B12 during its adventure and this drone has the ability to communicate with these strange beings. However, the TV head people aren’t the only beings in the city and while they are mostly friendly, other creatures aren’t.

BlueTwelve Studios says that there are various creatures that will try and get in your way and even kill the cat. These creatures are best avoided through sneaking and intense chase scenes where the player will have to run away from them. Thankfully, the cat also gets some cool gadgets that it can use to defend itself like a neon flashlight that damages these creatures.

For anyone looking for a unique adventure game told from a new perspective, Stray might be it. The game is set to arrive on PS5 and PS4 in early 2022. Watch the full gameplay walkthrough down below.
