Samsung Galaxy S20 Leak Confirms it is the Next Flagship Phone

It seems there will be no Samsung Galaxy S11 to S19 as Samsung is going straight to the S20. A new photo leak of the device has confirmed the branding change said to be announced at the next Galaxy Unpacked event on 11 February 2020.

XDA managed to get their hands on the first real photos of the Samsung Galaxy S20 Plus which confirms past leaked specs including the hole-punch display and the four-camera array at the back. The phone follows much in the footsteps of the Note 10 in terms of the design and even features a toned-down curved design on the side of the device.

According to sources, the Samsung Galaxy S20 and S20+ will not feature a curved display this year as the company has opted for 2.5D glass instead.

The camera system is said to contain a regular wide lens, an ultra-wide, portrait, and a new macro lens. Samsung is said to be announcing three versions of the Galaxy S20 next month; a standard model, the S20+, and the S20 Ultra which will be the higher-end model.

Other than that, we can’t see much of the leaked Galaxy S20 from the photos. The operating system is still Android and the photos don’t give us much to go on in terms of internal CPU and GPU specs. It is also unclear which of these models will come packed with 5G but our guess is that it will be the Ultra model
