SEGA has announced a new Sonic game headed exclusively to Apple Arcade next month. Sonic Dream Team is a brand-new adventure built for the platform and features Sonic and his friends on a new journey through dreams and nightmares.
According to SEGA, Dr. Eggman has discovered a device called The Reverie which can manifest dreams and bring them into the real world. As a result, the evil round villain has created dreamscapes which he plans to use to take over the world.

Sonic Dream Team features the same fast-paced action the series is known for but the six playable characters will offer different playstyles for each level. You can play as Sonic, Tails, Knuckles, Amy Rose, Cream and Rogue.
The game features 12 unique zones all inspired by dreams and nightmares. Thanks to the dreams theme, the game also delivers mind-bending platforming to master and over-the-top boss fights to complete.
SEGA says Sonic Dream Team will release on 5 December for Apple Arcade. You’ll be able to play the game on iPhone, iPad, Max and Apple TV. The game has been developed by Hardlight.
