We’re almost at the halfway point of 2023 and we can’t believe how time has flown. This year has been a gift for gamers as we’ve received several exciting new games, from Star Wars Jedi: Survivor and The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom to Street Fighter 6 and Diablo 4, among many others. With the year still steamrolling ahead with highly anticipated upcoming titles, we thought it would be great to look back at some of the highest-rated video games of 2023 so far.
All of the information used for this list is based on the current “2023 Hall of Fame” rankings on the video game review aggregate website, OpenCritic. As of writing, the list is massive and we can’t include every possible game in our article, so we’ve hand-picked some of the most important ones with links to our reviews where applicable, starting with the mid-80s (out of 100) and rising.
