Assassin’s Creed Codename Jade Beta Date Announced – Register Now

You’ll soon be able to play the upcoming Assassin’s Creed Codename Jade mobile game during a special closed beta taking place next month. Ubisoft has announced that starting on 3 August, both iOS and Android users can participate in Assassin’s Creed Codename Jade beta. Of course, you’ll need to get into the test first.

The beta test is closed meaning you’ll need to get approved in order to participate in the event. All you need to do is register for access and hope for the best. You can do so by heading to the registration page here.

Registration is quite simple but keep in mind that it doesn’t require a Ubisoft Account. Instead, Assassin’s Creed Codename Jade is being handled by Level Infinite so you’ll need to create an account. Thankfully, it is quick and easy.

Ubisoft partnered with Tencent’s Level Infinite last year and announced it would handle the online aspects of Assassin’s Creed Jade. At the moment it doesn’t look as if there are any restrictions in place for the Assassin’s Creed Codename Jade beta when it comes to the region locks.

According to the announcement, the game does have servers in North America and Western Europe. The announcement also says that the team can’t wait to welcome players from “all over the world”. So I think we can confirm South Africans can sign up.

The news blog states that starting from 17 July, users who sign up will receive a questionnaire to vet their account. Once approved, invitations will be sent out starting on 27 July. You’ll then get to pre-load the game on 1 August ahead of the 3 August launch.

The beta will run from 3 – 11 August and 5,000 slots are available across both iOS and Android. If you’re keen to give Assassin’s Creed Codename Jade a go, best register asap.
