Hi-Fi Rush, the rhythm action game from The Evil Within developer Tango Gameworks, has been rated by the PEGI ratings board for Nintendo Switch ahead of an official announcement. The game is one of four former Xbox exclusives announced to be heading multi-platform alongside Pentiment, Grounded and Sea of Thieves which just launched on PS5.
As reported by Gematsu, the PEGI ratings board recently gave its verdict for Hi-Fi Rush – getting a PEGI 12 rating for violence and bad language – on both Nintendo Switch and PS5, suggesting that an announcement might happen soon regarding the game heading to Nintendo’s hybrid console. Among the four former Xbox exclusives, Hi-Fi Rush and Sea of Thieves are the only games left to make the jump to Switch.
Hi-Fi Rush shadow-dropped in January 2023 right after its reveal, offering players an addictive, fun rhythm-based action game that deviates from developer Tango Gameworks’ horror formula. It went on to win Best Audio Design at The Game Awards last year.

In related news, Sea of Thieves hit PS5 recently and amassed millions of players. During our time with the closed beta, we gave a few words of warning for newcomers: the game does a poor job of explaining mechanics, quests and objectives, so make sure you either have someone with you who knows the ropes or get ready to bring up Google a lot. Beyond that, it’s a fantastic sea-faring pirate adventure that has changed quite dramatically from its poor launch several years ago.
Hi-Fi Rush is currently available for PS5, Xbox Series X/S and PC. Expect a Nintendo Switch announcement pretty soon.
