Boet Fighter Gets its First Official Trailer and Release Date

The upcoming South African-developed beat em’ up, Boet Fighter has just received its first official trailer and it is the story trailer too.

The game is being developed by Cali4Ways and the first trailer showcases the game’s plot. Hard Eddy tries to track down a binnet that he was on a date with. Some other oke went off with her and he sets off to find her.

The adventure takes them across Johannesburg to all the hottest clubs in order to find the missing binnet. Hard Eddy and his partner (not a life partner, not that type of game), Modise “Mod-C” Cele get roped into all sorts of problems along the way.

According to Cali4Ways, Boet Fighter is now officially on track for an “end of September” release date but an official date was not given.

The first DLC character for Boet Fighter was also teased in a press release which points to a possible local cage fighter celebrity cameo.

Boet Fighter is releasing on Steam first and the wishlist page is now live. The game will make its way to mobile soon after and consoles after that. We will share the actual release date and pricing of the game closer to launch.
