The latest Borderlands is just over two weeks away from release and of course, the world cannot wait to make some mayhem when it launches on 13 September 2019. It seems we may have a Borderlands 3 Fortnite event taking place as Fortnite has teased a possible crossover.

A tweet from the official Fortnite account included an image with a load of cartoonish images on it with the #FortniteXMayhem. The tweet also says, “when you see it…” and the image is a collection of a bunch of Fortnite characters and objects in a cartoonish style.

On the left-hand side of the image, you can see the iconic Borderlands Psycho mask which is pretty obvious as it is designed in a different art style than that of the other objects on the image
If Borderlands 3 were to crossover with the popular battle royale game, it would not be a surprise. Fortnite is known for its iconic crossover events like the Marvel’s Avengers, John Wick and even went as far as Nike Air Jordans at one stage. We will have to wait and see what comes out of this Borderlands 3 Fortnite event in the coming days.
We know quite a lot about the upcoming Borderlands release such as how its end-game will work, all the weapons you will find and their abilities as well as new details we discovered during our time with the game at E3 2019. Borderlands 3 is due out on 13 September for PS4, Xbox One and the Epic Games Store.
