Hogwarts Legacy is just a few short weeks away from launch and players are getting ready to jump into an open-world RPG that gives us the chance to live out a year as an enrolled student at the wizarding school. Before launch, however, players can claim a couple of awesome items as long as they follow a few simple steps. Don’t forget to claim them before you set off on your journey in the game.
Before Hogwarts Legacy arrives on PS5, Xbox Series X/S and PC this February (and other platforms at later dates), you can claim a couple of in-game items. Namely, the Beaked Skull Mask to wear within the game and the House Fan-atic School Robe. Here’s how you can redeem both items before launch.

The official website for Hogwarts Legacy offers a handy step-by-step guide on how to claim the items:
- Pop over to this link to begin the process and login to your account with us. If you need to create a profile from scratch, of course you can do that too.
- Once you’ve completed the Wand Ceremony and Sorting Ceremony you will be asked to click the copy button, which will send you an 8-digit code.
- Now go to the WB Games website and either create an account or login to your existing one.
- You may be prompted to connect to us straight away – in which case, paste your 8-digit code in. And just like that, your accounts should be linked, no Binding Spells required!
When you finally get Hogwarts Legacy, you’ll be prompted to link your account upon booting up the game for the first time. Visit the website offered to you or scan the QR code with your phone to launch your WB Games account from a mobile browser. You’ll have to enter another six-digit code at this point, but it’s as simple as that. You’ll also get an exclusive wallpaper to download once everything has been linked up.
This will reward you with the Bear Skull Mask and House Fan-atic School Robe to use in-game. It doesn’t seem like these items offer any perks or skills as they’re mainly cosmetic, but they’re cool nonetheless. Visit the official website for more information.
Hogwarts Legacy launches on 10 February 2023 for PS5, Xbox Series X/S and PC. PS4 and Xbox One versions will release on 4 April 2023, followed by a Nintendo Switch version on 25 July 2023.
