Team Ninja plans on releasing The Nioh Collection for PS5 on 4 February 2021. The collection includes both the original Nioh and Nioh 2 including all the DLC and updates ever released, all remastered for PS5. Not only is this upcoming collection packed with content but the visual tweaks and changes are also a welcome addition to series. All of the titles on PlayStation 5 will support 4K and up to 120FPS. If you have ever played a Nioh game before you would know that the game feels great running at a higher FPS.
Team Ninja released 14 minutes of new The Nioh Collection PS5 gameplay running at 4K 60FPS and it looks gorgeous. Check it out down below.
The Nioh Collection on PS5 includes both Nioh and Nioh 2. Users who already own the second game will get a free upgrade to the remaster at no additional cost. However, there is no free upgrade from the original version of Nioh. Users will have to purchase the Nioh Complete Edition on PS5 in order to obtain the original remaster. In addition, users can transfer their data from the PS4 version and pick up where they left off.
Team Ninja has also announced that Nioh series is going to be put on ice for now so this will most likely be the last time you will play the game for a while. Let’s hope the PS5 enhancements deliver enough reason to spend money on the games again. The Nioh Collection releases for PS5 on 4 February 2021. You can pre-order it here.
