Insidious: The Red Door Gets First Unsettling Trailer

Insidious: The Red Door is the fifth chapter in the horror franchise Insidious and it looks like we’re going back to the unsettling atmosphere and themes of the first movie. The first trailer for Insidious: The Red Door picks up several years after the supernatural terror that plagued a family, showing an older Dalton who is haunted by visions after experiencing astral protection into a demonic realm called The Further.

Insidious: The Red Door will be directed by Patrick Wilson who also stars in the lead role as struggling father Josh Lambert. Ty Simpkins returns to play his son Dalton who, after going through the hellish ordeal of the first movie, seems to have some post-trauma and is now experiencing strange haunted visions again. Some familiar demons from the first two movies make a return here but they’re joined by creepy new faces.
