We are only a few days away from E3 and Summer Game Fest which means developers have started teasing new game announcements. Coming out of the first batch of teasers is none other than a new Jurassic Park video game. While it is too early to tell whether or not this new game is going to be a park management simulator or perhaps an action-adventure, the good news is there is a dinosaur game coming our way! That should be enough to get you excited.
The tease comes from the official Jurassic World Twitter account who posted an image of a dense jungle setting with a dinosaur peering through the foliage. While that could be related to the upcoming movie, it seems it may actually be a video game tease. Firstly, the image is clearly plucked from a game engine. The foliage and textures on the plants lack that CG realism you would expect to see from a movie. Furthermore, the official Jurassic World: The Game Twitter account chimed back at the tease with multiple eyeball emojis.

While there is no official announcement of confirmation of the Jurassic Park video game reveal set for E3 or Summer Game Fest, everything does seem to point to a game announcement. Fans seem to think this is possible due to a special appearance of Jeff Goldblum during the Summer Game Fest this week. Goldblum is set to host a showcase of world premieres starting at 11 am PT / 20:00 SAT. The Jurassic Park actor was also a key spokesperson for the previous game’s reveal back in 2018.

Keep in mind that we might be a little crazy to expect this Jurassic Park video game announcement to be real. Perhaps fans also have their wires crossed somewhere and the teaser was simply an image of the new film. However, we have a feeling that is not the case. Until then, take this with a pinch of salt for now but stayed tuned this week for a full reveal. Be sure to check out our E3 2021 schedule here for more times and announcement dates.
