Star Wars Outlaws officially has a release date. The game launches on 30 August for PS5, Xbox Series X/S and PC. If you’re wondering what special editions you can pick up and what pre-order incentives you’ll get with each version, we have you covered.
Star Wars Outlaws stars Key Vess, an emerging scoundrel seeking freedom and the stars of a new life. Key gets roped into a gang war after she crosses paths with the most notorious crime syndicates. The game takes place between the events of The Empire Strikes Back and Return of the Jedi.
Ubisoft is marketing Star Wars Outlaws as the first real “open-world” Star Wars game to date. Players can explore various outdoor landscapes on their speeder and travel to various planets through their adventures. Each planet aims to deliver new missions, exploration and secrets.
Pre-ordering Star Wars Outlaws will grant players access to the Kessel Runner Bonus Pack which includes cosmetics for your Speeder and Trailblazer spaceship. The game also comes with three distinct versions including the Standard Edition, Gold Edition and Ultimate Edition.
Both the Gold and Ultimate Editions include a Season Pass which Ubisoft says will include two upcoming expansion packs for Star Wars Outlaws. You also get a 3-day early access with these versions.
