The Elder Scrolls 6 Will Feature Skyrim Grandma as an NPC

The Elder Scrolls 6 is still a very long way off but fans of the franchise and Skyrim specifically, does have something to look forward to. Sure, Bethesda isn’t sharing a lot of details about the game yet and we won’t see The Elder Scrolls 6 at E3 2019. However, Bethesda has shared one awesome detailed about the game. The loveable Shirley Curry, also known as the Skyrim Grandma, will be an NPC in the game.

For those who don’t know, Shirley Curry is an 82-year-old grandmother and avid Skyrim fan, with nearly 500,000 subscribers on YouTube. There was even a petition started by her fans to have her immortalized in The Elder Scrolls 6 with nearly 50,000 signatures. Bethesda has listened and revealed that the Skyrim Grandma will, in fact, be immortalized in their game.

In the short video above, Bethesda’s Todd Howard almost sounds starstruck when talking to the awesome Skyrim Grandma. Honestly, she is an inspiration and shows that anyone, no matter their age, can enjoy and fall in love with gaming. In the video below, Shirley explains that:

This means a lot to me because I would be extremely happy to know that somebody else was playing with my character in a future Elder Scrolls game.

Bethesda is celebrating 25 years of The Elder Scrolls and in the video below the publisher announced this fantastic, heartwarming news about Skyrim Grandma.
