The Last of Us Part II Remastered is reportedly getting a PC port announcement as soon as next month, according to a well-known leaker. The remastered title, which released earlier this year for PS5 and included new content and modes, was always expected to eventually make its way to PC but no release date was given nor an official announcement from developer Naughty Dog.
According to leaker Silknigth, Sony will announced a PC port of The Last of Us Part II Remastered but added that there will be a “longer-than-usual period between the announcement date and the release day.” This suggests that it will release several months after its announcement compared to other PlayStation PC ports which typically launched within the first couple of months of its reveal.
Beyond that, it’s likely that Nixxes Software, Sony’s partner regularly responsible for many PC versions of its exclusives, won’t be involved in this port as it’s currently busy working on the recently announced PC version of Ghost of Tsushima Director’s Cut. Development will likely be handled internally by Naughty Dog and Iron Galaxy Studios, which worked on The Last of Us Part I‘s PC port.
Sony’s upcoming PC game is The Last Of Us Part 2 Remastered. Its announcement is expected next month, although the exact date is unknown. There will be a longer-than-usual period between the announcement date and the release day.#TheLastofUs
