Gearbox Software has confirmed that Tiny Tina’s Wonderlands will feature crossplay across all platforms including PlayStation. While this news might sound like the norm, Gearbox Software dropped the ball with Borderlands 3 by excluding PlayStation owners from enjoying crossplay with other platforms.
The developer has managed to cooperate with Sony for the release of Tiny Tina’s Wonderlands and instead of leaving the PlayStation platform out of crossplay, the game will include it.

The news comes from Randy Pitchford who announced on Twitter that crossplay will be available in Tiny Tina’s Wonderlands at launch across all platforms. He says that Sony, Gearbox and 2K Games worked together on this development in order to make crossplay possible on the platform.
Tiny Tina’s Wonderlands will ship on March 25 with full cross play for all platforms at launch, including PlayStation. This is great news for the industry. Especially given that Sony has reportedly been up to some shady tactics in the past when it comes to crossplay on PS4 and PS5. Last year, it was reported that Sony was charging publishers to enable crossplay on PlayStation platforms.
At the moment, it is unclear how Gearbox Software and Sony managed to make Tiny Tina’s Wonderlands crossplay work. However, it is good news for the game and player base. Players can expect the full experience when it launches next week on 25 March for PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X/S and PC.
