While we are all still waiting for Respawn to finally unleash the upcoming Apex Legends battle pass, which will feature one new Legend called Octane (image above), data miners have been hard at work to give us a glimpse of the future of the game. Respawn noted that the battle pass will not be coming today, but details will be available very soon, just by the way. While we wait, we can check out a glimpse of new Apex Legends character images, 10 of them to be specific.

Last month we already reported on the names of possible new Apex Legends characters planned for the game. However, this new leak shows images of 10 new Apex Legends characters. The datamine findings were posted on Reddit in this thread, where Redditors jokingly said that every time a leak happens, Respawn delays the battle pass by 1 day.
In any case, the new Apex Legends character images look pretty cool and someone going by the name “Surgent179” created a mockup, incorporating the leaked images into the character screen, as provided by “whipped mccree” on Twitter. Check it out below, featuring possibly upcoming Apex Legends characters such as Rose, Prophet and more.
As always, remember to take this with a grain of salt, as Respawn’s plans might have changed, these character images could be old and many of the characters could have been scrapped even if they are still in the game’s files. Respawn’s community manager talked briefly about all these leaks on Reddit, explaining that:
There’s lots of stuff that has been datamined from Apex since launch and is swirling around the Internet. We know this stuff is fun to dig up and speculate about, but you should not treat any of that info as a source of truth. There’s stuff in there that is very old, or things we’ve tried in the past and cut–remember our design process is to prototype and play lots of ideas–and some of it may be things we’re still building for Apex Legends. Finding this stuff by no means confirms that it’ll ever come out. At best you should treat any posts about this as a rumor and the real info will come from us when we’re ready to show off what’s coming next.
