Armored Core 6 Story Trailer Revealed by From Software

Elden Ring and Dark Souls developer From Software has released a brand new story trailer for its upcoming mech action game, Armored Core 6: Fires of Rubicon. The trailer offers three minutes of great cinematics mixed in with plenty of crazy mech action. It’s the kind of story trailer that sells itself more on the fact that players will be able to control these awesome mechs than the actual story, though there is a narrative holding everything together.

The story of the Armored Core series has been rebooted a few times over the past two decades and it looks like we might be in for another reboot with Armored Core 6. This makes sense as From Software revealed that they want the game to be a good entry point for players into the franchise and what better way than to start from zero? A recurring theme in the series has always been about megacorporations taking over the planet and it looks like the story is sticking close to its guns (no pun intended) here.

The official features breakdown for Armored Core 6: Fires of Rubicon reads:
