Larian Studios has announced that its latest acclaimed RPG, Baldur’s Gate 3, is finally getting a physical release in the form of a packed Deluxe Edition. Additionally, it will also be coming to Xbox Series X/S after the studio teased that it would be announced for Microsoft’s platform this week. The bundle is expected to release in early 2024, though no release date was set for it yet.
The PS5 version of Baldur’s Gate 3 Deluxe Edition will come on two discs while the Xbox Series X/S version contains three discs. The PC version will contain a custom installer with a Steam CD key packaged. All three versions of the Deluxe Edition will come with a three CD soundtrack, two fabric patches, a cloth world map, a Mind Flayer poster and 32 stickers, all wrapped in an awesome display box. Best of all, it will only cost $79,99.
The physical Deluxe Edition for Baldur’s Gate 3 will also give players access to the Digital Deluxe Edition’s content including the Divinity Item Pack, Bard Song Pack, Exclusive Dice Skin, Paintings From Rivellon, Digital OST, Digital Artbook and a character sheet.
Pre-orders are currently available though it seems to be limited to Larian’s dedicated online store at the moment. Larian Studios also clarified that this is not a Collector’s Edition so players won’t have to worry about missing anything out in this edition.
Beyond Baldur’s Gate 3, Larian Studios founder and CEO Swen Vincke teased that the company was already working on its ‘next big game’ while celebrating its various nominations at The Game Awards including Game of the Year. Unfortunately, no other information was provided about Larian’s next big release though it hasn’t stopped fans from speculating that the studio might be working on the next Baldur’s Gate game or potentially returning to the Divinity series.
Baldur’s Gate 3‘s physical Deluxe Edition launches in early 2024 for PS5, Xbox Series X/S and PC.
