We got a chance to sit down and chat with Martin Copping, a prominent voice actor in games like Call of Duty: Vanguard and Rainbow Six: Siege, during Comic Con Africa 2023. We asked Copping about his favourite games, his dream voice acting roles and the challenges of landing work as a voice actor in the gaming industry.
Martin Copping’s roles in Rainbow Six and the Call of Duty franchise have earned him quite a reputation among the video game voice-acting community, often playing roles that require a bit more introspective character study than most characters – ones that Copping is drawn to for the challenge. Beyond that, Copping is also a gamer in his free time and loves to dip into first-person shooters.
